CD or DVD Reuse Machine or Mechanism

I was wondering if it would be possible to refill the small data pits made on CD or DVD-ROMs during burning to make them new and reusable. And if a machine or chemical procedure could be devised to do just that.

Food Flavoured Cosmetics

I am not sure if this is already in the market. But wouldn’t it be nice if there were Food Flavoured (Edible) Cosmetics avaible. This way to can safely lick your girlfriend’s face which would taste like chocolate or strawberries

Nintendo Wii style remote control

I don’t know why the TV remote controls can be made with motion sensores in them much like Nintendo Wii Controller so that you can use them to point to stuff on TV screen or enter info or manipulate TV objects. This way with conjunction of a low level TV-OS it would be possible to use TV more interactively.

Anti Virus Technology

I was thinking why can’t the immune system concept of the human body be replicated and applied to computers in combating computer viruses. The concept being recognition by anti-bodies, covering and disabling and lastly absorbtion (or in this case deletion) by something similar to macrophages. This way it is not always needed for the antivirus software to be updated and they can by themselves analyze and disable previously unrecognized new computer viruses.

The Laser Based Shaver

Currently, there are laser based hair removal machines. I was thinking, it would be cool if they could develop a Laser Shaver which can remove the facial hair of men for a longer period so that there wouldn’t be a need for nearly everyday shaving.

Optically linked satellites

Maybe this is a bit sci-fi, but I was thinking, wouldn’t be possible and faster for satellites to have laser based optical links in between them for communicating and transfering data?

Hybrid Flash Ram – CD-DVD Disks

I wonder if it would be possible to make disks that hold flash ram type chips on one side and normal type tracks on the other. This disk could be used in CD-DVD Drives for retrieving info of the track side and special drives could (re)write to multiple flash ram chips on the surface in parallel or in sequence. Since there are multiple flash ram chips the wareout of the chips would be minimized.

Clean Dishes

I heard that they have developed a surface which does not attract water and could be self cleaning. I wonder if the same concept can be applied to dishes whereby there would be no need to wash the dishes after you eat from them.

Washable Paper

I was thinking how it would be nice to have papers which can be washed with a special solution so that the paper itself could be reused. Also it would have been better if the solution itself could be treated to recover the ink. The reason for solution is that the is not easily removed by itself or water or smudged when the printed paper is in use and can only be cleaned with the special solution.

Biodegradable Patch

Wouldn’t be nice to have medicines administered through small biodegradable patches that you put on your skin and it’s fully absorbed through skin without leaving a trace
