USB Socket on the wall

Posted by aranate on November 4, 2007

I was thinking how nice it would be to have a home with USB Ports on the wall to be used either as an electric outlet for charging devices or as a communication socket to replace phone socket.

Nice Idea… but think about that usb cables an be only used in limited length.

  2. there was an article quite a few years ago about an englishman who used the electricity wires to also carry internet and radio and phone signals over the same one copper line which some MIT kids toldme last year they find it to be superior to fiber optic partially due to coppers long life span asa wire – BUT that article queitly disappeared becaue many time military insitutions buy up or grab new ideas and technologies and use them in the military sector of a country first then later it is used by civilians…..is this the secret “back door” I have heard mention? I don’t know but I do know the iranian military is wise to have an internal self sufficient military infrastructure – I felt sort of embarrased when the u.s. sold the iranians the f-14’s – all they were were a shell – none of the secret stuff came with them – I went to school to work on them with iranians back in 1975 -76 -they got paid way way more than an american sailor got – it was clear to me that there was alot of phoney baloney going on and the dishonesty above all else is what really brought about that revolution
