Clean Keyboards

I was wondering if keyboards could be made total washable and/or in a way that they don’t need to be cleaned all the time. Maybe new nano-textures available that are dirt free or that the grease and dirt do not stick to them can be used to have a surface free of dirt and grease and especially fingerprints.

in regards to the keyboard question – there is already I believe a type surface tht is merely a reflection from the scren of a keyboard and using lazer light I think it sees what “key” you “typed” thus eliminating the problems of dirt etc
